The greatest wisdom is bred as a function of pain, perhaps it's apropos that we share the wisdom of gratitude.

 It should never take something bad to make you realize that you've got it good. As such, with Thanksgiving upon us, I would like to take a moment to acknowledge the bounty of my many blessings:

• I'm thankful for our circle of trust and the network of human capital that comprises our collective friendship.
• I'm thankful for the perspective that life has provided.
• I'm thankful for each and every person who believes in what they do.
• I'm thankful for TFD for all they've done and who they are.
• I'm thankful for the partners who stack their chips on causes that help a greater good.
• I'm thankful that we got to laugh as much as we did.
• I'm thankful for my memories
• I'm thankful that I can hear the sound of music and the laughter of little kids.
• I'm thankful that I can see sunsets and fall foliage.
• I'm thankful that I can smell warm fires on winter nights.
• I'm thankful that I can taste chocolate cream pie.
• I'm thankful that I can feel cold sheets in a warm bed.
• I'm thankful that I can still exercise even if I choose not to.
• I'm thankful that my mistakes become lessons if I choose to learn from them.
• I'm thankful for friends and friendship.
• I'm thankful for each day, even if some are better than others.
• I'm thankful for friendships that withstand the test of time.
• I'm thankful for the strength that has allowed me to withstand my hardships.
• I'm thankful for those trying to affect positive change.
• I'm thankful for the opportunities daily.
• I'm thankful that I've realized that the purpose of the journey is the journey itself.
• And I'm thankful for all of the things that I once took for granted and able to recognize that I've still got a lot to learn.
